1 Peter 5:7
Think for a moment about the last really stressful, high pressure situation you found yourself in. What was going on in your physical body? Did you get sweaty palms? Did you clench your jaw? Did your heart rate rise? Did you get anxious?
Each of us responds a little differently when pressure comes, but we are all invited to do a similar thing when we’re overwhelmed with pressure. Our passage today tells us to “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7)
Think about your “anxieties” right now. Where are you currently going with them? What would it look like for you right now to cast all those anxieties on Him? Spend time allowing God to speak to your heart in regards to that question today.
