You…are…not…alone.  Your Heavenly Father is here with you now through the power of His Spirit.  Take a moment and let that sink in.  Then, read the devotional below.

“Give thanks in all circumstances…” — 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Welcome to the holiday season!  This Thursday many of you will gather around a table with family and friends to eat, watch football, eat, play games, eat and hopefully GIVE THANKS.

I sure each of our experiences will probably be quite different this Thanksgiving. Some of you will be encountering difficult family dynamics  & people that are challenging to be around.

Others of you can’t wait to have grandma and grandpa or aunts, uncles and cousins as well as friends around.   But regardless of how perfect or imperfect your thanksgiving situation is, I pray you’ll discover that this very season is a perfect time to “give thanks”.

This week as we talk about gratitude, what do you have to be thankful for AT THIS VERY MOMENT.  Right now, wherever you are, just spend some time expressing a prayer of thanksgiving to your Heavenly Father for all the blessings He has given you.
