Jesus promised us He would never leave us (Matt. 28:19-20).  That means He is present with you now.  Is your heart prepared to hear from Him?  Take a moment to prepare your heart to hear from Him then read the passage below.

Exodus 34:7

There’s a counterpart to the forgiving nature of God: “But I do not excuse the guilty.”  (Exodus 34:7).  The idea here is Yahweh is forgiving by nature, but at the same time, He is also JUST.  It’s important to point out that Yahweh’s justice is a GOOD thing.  Remember, God’s end goal is a world with NO evil!   No mass shootings in churches.  No cruel dictators engaging in ethnic cleansing. No abuse or racism. No exploitation of women and children.

No fatherless children.  No evil at all!   How many of you want to live in a world like that with NO EVIL? If you’re a follower of Jesus one day you will.  That’s the Gospel.  It can only take place because of God’s JUSTICE.

How does thinking of God’s JUSTICE as it’s been explained above influence or even change your view of God?  What do you sense Him speaking to you right now?  How is He calling you to respond?
