Glendale Nazarene Church's Children's Ministry seeks to love children and teach them to love God. It is a place of excitement, fun, friendships and sometimes just pure, sloppy, gooey wackiness! Our programs are designed to see children Saved, Solid in their faith and given opportunities to Serve. Parents can take comfort in knowing their children are not being baby-sat, but are being taught that Jesus loves them. We begin with our smallest members, those in Baby Church, ages birth to 18 months. (Yes, even at this age we are committed to introducing the Word of God.) We believe in teaching Jesus to the youngest of God's children.
We want:
1. To offer children and families a safe and loving environment that allows an openness to the Holy Spirit, and that presents Christ in a positive way as an answer to (eternal) life.
2. To present to children and families a place to develop Godly skills in Christian living, instilling in each child the core values that produce direction for life and character.
3. To train and develop teachers and support staff for all areas of ministry.
We are committed to the spiritual growth of every child.
